Bus Test
Once upon a time, I heard someone mention the "bus test": "If you were hit by a bus today, would your idea live on?" This struck me as a great concept, one which occurs for me most prominently in the context of those ideas I have which have social benefit; I want them to exist on the web so that if I get 'hit by a bus,' the idea has the opportunity to live on.
