R1 pants

R1 Pants (Special): Ever the aspiring Chouinardite, I tend to leave the heat off in my home. In the winter, this becomes more tricky and I seek coping mechanisms. I've been contemplating this purchase for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. The back pocket is an awesome feature and they're quite lightweight at 227g / 8 oz yet very warm.

 

Update 2012: Colorado, mild climate has softened me a bt from my four-season cycling, 40 pounds heavier self, but the pants are still in the quiver and I've worn them every day this week.
