St. Julien

The St. Julien hotel & Spa is a lovely spot in the heart of Boulder. I highly recommend it.

I worked with delightful people on the Laundry & Housekeeping teams to improve the laundry system using Vision Chemical Systems hardware, software, and chemistry to improve the P&L for the laundry team.

Reduced rewash:

Reduced linen 'ragging': The embodied resources here are exciting. Each sheet was ~2.2# - high threadcount quality linen, being processed using a Chicago iron with Milnor and UniMac equipment. I also have experience with BRIM hardware and software from the work I was concurrently doing at UniFirst.

Improved stain removal pass percentage throughout sort and eliminated reclaim.

Reduced dry times and associated energy consumption.

Reduced cycle times for wash, across the board, as well as water use.

Innovated Laundry as a service: (Laas) - Vision took carts of stained linens and terry that would otherwise be destroyed or 'ragged,' processed them, and returned them as usable linen & terry at a fraction of replacement cost.
